Bartering App: Swap Goods and Services Without Cash
A mobile marketplace where people list what they have, say what they want, and trade directly, with chat and offers built in.

The problem
People already swapped items and skills informally, but there was no simple way to list what they had, find someone who wanted it, and agree a trade with someone they could trust.
Our approach
We designed the app around the trade itself: what I offer, what I want, and how we agree, rather than copying a standard classifieds layout.
What we did
- Built listings with photos and a “looking for” field to help match trades
- Added an offer and counter-offer flow with in-app messaging
- Sent notifications for new offers, messages and matches
- Delivered the app for mobile so people can trade from their phones
Outcome
- Users can find relevant trades instead of scrolling through unrelated posts
- Both sides can agree terms inside the app rather than across scattered chats
- People can list, browse and trade directly from their phones
